The group art exhibition "When life gives you LEMONS, make LEMONADE" is presented at the Adamantia Art Center in Neiporio, Andros

The Adamantia Art Space (Neiporio - Andros) presents from Saturday, June 3 to Saturday, June 24 the Group Art Exhibition "When life gives you LEMONS, make LEMONADE"

OPENING: Saturday, June 3, time: 7 p.m.

"When life gives you lemons, make lemonade" is a proverbial phrase used to encourage optimism and a positive attitude of contentment in the face of adversity or misfortune.

​

On the island that, according to Andreas Empiricos, is "the island of ekpaglos, the queen of the Aegean... the most beautiful of all the world", Andros, 32 notable and acclaimed contemporary visual artists are inspired and create works that their optimism and positive energy cause impression as well as the large and impressive thick-skinned lemons of Andros. After all, many works, having lemons as their theme, remind the visitors of the exhibition of the well-established LEMON FESTIVAL that takes place in parallel on the island and directs our attention to the agricultural past of the island, creating optimism for a prosperous future regarding their production and exploitation .

At the same time, the group art exhibition "When life gives you LEMONS, make LEMONADE" invites you to visit the beautiful and welcoming Adamantia art space in Neiporio, on the beach of Chora tis Andros, which has already brought forth a host of artists who have learned to exhibit their works and introduce themselves. ADAMANTIA has a plan and a vision and is always next to the artists. The aim is to highlight the artistic side of the stately island of Andros, as it still has a lot to give to the ARTS that it supported from a very early age and continues to strongly support.

The exhibition opens on Saturday, June 3rd at 7pm. and runs until Saturday, June 24. It can be visited every day and on weekends, 7-11pm, throughout its duration, while entry to the exhibition is FREE.

Dimitris Lazarou and his cultural website www.art-profiles.net are responsible for the concept, organization and editing of the exhibition.
